The name VIBGYOR epitomizes the core quality of “ALL SHADES OF LIFE”. Ethics and trustworthiness are our inherent assets and we are committed to create value for all our suppliers and customers. We conduct our operations with absolute professionalism, uncompromising integrity, transparency and total commitment.

As every Manufacture knows, sourcing raw materials is critical to food & drug development and can make or break the chances for successful commercialization. Whether the project requires off-the-shelf or customized ingredients, cultivating sound, trustworthy and reliable supplier relationships significantly increases the chances of minimizing impurities and meeting project timelines.

Supplier qualification refers to the overall quality management of outsourced materials and activities as they relate to food/drug product and API manufacturing. It also is part of a regulated Pharmaceutical Quality System that is required according to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and ensures the consistent quality and safety of raw materials.

Supplier qualification is not only a requirement of cGMP that we follow at VIBGYOR, but it’s also mandated by the DCGI to ensure that pharmaceutical supply chains are properly controlled

We at VIBGYOR conduct a self-evaluation questionnaire. Prior to selecting suppliers of goods and services, we make sure that each of our chosen suppliers complete a questionnaire, which provides important information to make an initial evaluation regarding the suitability and compliance of the supplier. The questions addresses source and quality of raw materials, efficiency of processes, and evidence of existing quality systems.

We also perform on site evaluations. For sources of critical supplies, it’s important to perform on-site quality audits of the supplier’s facilities, operations and quality systems. In the event that an on-site audit is not feasible, CMOs often can accept recent evidence of a quality system inspection by a regulatory body such as the FDA, European Medicines Agency (EMA) or other as a substitute for its own on-site visit.

We at Vibgyor ensure the following:

  • A physical inspection of goods is carried out in the country of export pre-shipping, establishing the exact nature of the goods.
  • The invoice and other documents are then scrutinized and an accurate valuation, and customs tariff code, are assigned. These are used, in conjunction with, the clients importing country’s published duty rates, to calculate the correct duties and taxes payable.
  • Performa Invoice and Certificate of Analysis is then issued to the importer. This is used to substantiate the payment of full duty, prior to clearing the goods.

Many goods are produced in countries where the safety and performance requirements of the importing country or region are not always fully understood. These requirements have been put into place to ensure the safety of importing countries consumers. Unsafe and unreliable products can result in injury, death or damage to property as well as the costs associated with product recalls, compensation claims and the damage to a brand’s reputation.

Companies trading with these countries need to comply with these requirements for customs clearance. Failure to do so can result in severe delays in goods clearance, penalties or even shipments being returned.

Similarly, it helps Importing companies to clear the goods, pay the invoices, and ship the goods at their respective warehouse.
